WALTER EWAG participates in EU Project DIPLAT
On January 15, 2013 the EU FP7 funded collaborative project DIPLAT - "Enabling advanced functionalities of Diamond and other ultra-hard materials by Integrated Pulsed Laser Ablation Technologies"with participation of WALTER EWAG started.
The project will run over a period of 42 months and is coordinated by the Institute of Machine Tools and Manufacturing at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. DIPLAT addresses the need for an efficient, precise and flexible processing technology for ultra-hard materials (e.g. diamond) in tooling applications, in order to fully exploit the potential of these materials. By smartly utilizing the advantages of high brilliance short and ultra-short pulsed lasers, a tooling technology based on 3D Pulsed Laser Ablation (PLA) will be developed and demonstrated for various industrial applications.

Successful demo days with EWAG from 28th June to 2nd July 2010
During the demo days held in Etziken, our new LASER LINE and INSERT LINE developments were presented to around 120 customers. In addition to viewing these innovations, the invited guests also had the opportunity to inspect the entire product range.

When the 11th player is the EWAMATIC LINE...
7th June marks the start of the largest sporting event of the year in Switzerland. 16 top teams will compete in Switzerland and Austria for the title of best European football team.
Ewag AG has also been preparing for this major event. As well as the company's own football team, EWAG has also put its EWAMATIC LINE CNC tool grinding machine in its red and white colours in the European spotlight.
