WS11-SP, the classic among tool grinding machines, overhauled directly at EWAG‘s location in Etziken.

Disassembly and cleaning
- Assembly is completely dismantled and disassembled
- Individual parts are cleaned & de-oiled in special cleaning machines
- Preparation for measurement
- On request: preparation of the parts to be painted
Testing & measuring
- Checking the running smoothness and ease of movement of the assemblies
- Checking of bearing seats and fits by means of emptying
- Measuring of parallelism and dimensional accuracy
- Tolerances according to production drawings in the range of 0.002 mm are specified
Evaluation and replacement
- old design/assembly will be replaced by the current version if spare parts are available
- Exclusively at EWAG: Conversion of the existing electrics and operational system to external control cabinet and operating element according to current DIN standard
Reconditioning and assembly
- Grinding in new bearing seats
- Fitting of the new components
- Adapt or create new schematic and drawings
- Compile new operating instructions
